Grilling Recipes/Tips and Tricks

Post  new_skool91 on Sun May 23, 2010 1:55 am

Anybody got any good tips for use on the grill? I'm going to do a couple of salmon burgers today from Sams which are indescribably good, but I am trying to get into grilling more regularly and am looking for advice and tips from you pros out there!

Lol, well I am certainly not a pro, but the only advice I can really give is be sure to not overcook your food! My grill cooks really fast, so I end up throwing pounds of meat away because I wasnt paying attention.

And this isnt really a recipe, but I get the salmon burgers from Sams as well and I put "Wham" on them. Honestly, it makes then 10 times better.

What kinda grill do you use?

The salmon burgers from Sams are ridiculously good! If you like salmon, you might also want to try the seasoned salmon fillets, which are the best ever. They are grillable too, but I found that they are seasoned so well that they have a grilled taste even when baked, and they don't dry out as easily.

I have a charcoal grill. I've done a little experimenting with hickory chips, but none lately. Dad is the ribs guru, so he handled meat, both ribs and chicken for today.

I made a key lime pie. First one. It was way too easy and turned out great. Anybody have any good cooking adventures over the holiday?
